Our Work

Thanks to Northwest Hills United Methodist Church, Furaha House was able to host its first Fundraiser to support its programs and Activities. Our Annual Fundraiser is filled with an African experience with food , Music, Fashion Show. This event introduced participants to the African culture while raising funds to support Furaha House Initiatives in Texas and back on the Motherland Africa. Furaha House believes that they are many agencies providing services to African immigrant and refugees families that can use a Cultural Compentency Training in order to better serve our communutiy
